DOKU.TECH is an annual event bringing together individuals and tech talent with top-tier international future makers, executives and thinkers. The past 7 editions (2014-2020) convened over 7,000 attendees and more than 90 world-wide renowned speakers in the live event and more than 30.000 views from our offline event (2020). This conference explores and challenges the social implications of technological innovations through connectivity, content, openness and security while inspiring youngsters by sharing knowledge and experiences.
DOKU.TECH aims to aid development of the tech landscape in Kosovo, combined with the will and courage to create an atmosphere for technological growth by bringing the opportunity of listening to international speakers, entertain groundbreaking ideas, and challenging the audience's knowledge and points of view on technology, online security, and content openness.
DOKU.TECH held its first edition in August 2014, in Prizren, Kosovo, as an outstanding tech conference at the well-known International Film Festival Dokufest. DOKU.TECH explored and challenged the social implications of technological innovations through connectivity, content, openness and security. Taking place in the beautiful city of Prizren, Kosovo, the event gathered reputable speakers, observers, explorers and builders from around the world to talk about open knowledge, digital security, privacy, social entrepreneurship and business.
The first edition had more than 500 participants’ international & local experts, during more than 30 events, talks, discussions, workshops and parties. The discussions were held under the main theme “Open, Security, Community and Content”.

The premiant event for technology in the Balkans is back in 10 to 12 of JUNE 2022 with the theme “My face is not a Barcode” which will explore opportunities and threats of Artificial Intelligence and Data.
