DOKU.TECH X Edition at Dokufest
5 – 6 August, 2023
Innovation and Training Park (ITP), Prizren

The 10th edition of DOKU.TECH to its mother festival Dokufest will bring a higher focus on the intersection of art and technology under the theme “Bringing the Future Closer, Together”.

The program is planned for August 5 – 6, 2023, at the premises of Innovation and Training Park (ITP), Prizren.

  • Keynote Talk – TECH will bring to Prizren the professor of Arts, Media, and Engineering and Electrical Engineering (ECEE), Pavan Turaga, from Arizona State University, who also leads the School of Arts, Media, and Engineering. During his talk, professor Turaga will present the trends and issues in AI and the creative industry, by emphasizing the transformative potential of AI and its ability to augment human creativity, push artistic boundaries, and unlock new possibilities.
  • Panel discussion “Accelerating Women’s Representation in the World of Artificial Intelligence” – which will focus on examining the current status of women’s representation, identifying the challenges they face, and determining the necessity of interventions to ensure equity, diversity, and fairness in AI, brought by IPKO Foundation and Women in Tech Kosovo as part of the project “Reshaping the Future: Kosovo Women on the Front Line of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity”, supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kosovo.
  • DokuKids Workshops – as part of the DokuKids Program, we will run two workshop sessions on responsible AI and creative tools with Dokukids, who will have the opportunity to dive into discussions, practical exercises, and hands-on activities that highlight the importance of responsible AI implementation in creative processes.
