Jelena Memet (1978) feminist, longtime peace activist in Serbia and the region, one of the founders and director of the Alternative girls’ center since 2013. For 18 years she has been empowering girls and young women in preventing gender-based and digital violence, peace policies, digital and integrated security. One of the founders of the Feminist Spring School program for young women from Kosovo and Serbia, which has been organized for 9 years in order to build peace, break down prejudices and open a dialogue between young women from Kosovo and Serbia. Recently, she started working in philanthropy, which is aimed at supporting and empowering girls and affirmation of their education from an early age.
