Blerta Thaqi

Blerta Thaçi is a digital governance advocate and social entrepreneur from Kosovo, dedicated to transparency, cybersecurity, and inclusive technology. With a background in software engineering and public policy, she leads Open Data Kosovo, driving civic tech solutions for accountable institutions. She founded Girls Coding Kosova to empower women and youth in tech, and co-founded ZenVen, Kosovo’s first coworking space. Currently pursuing a master’s in AI for Public Services (AI4Gov), Blerta focuses on ethical digital transformation, service design, and citizen engagement. She also leads CyberSecure Kosovo, strengthening media and civil society resilience against digital threats through training, advocacy, and research.
