Dr. Ardian Jusufi went to Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to work as Research Associate, after graduating from the University of California at Berkeley. Ardian positions his research in the fields of both engineering and biomechanics. He integrates soft robot components made of hyperelastic silicone elastomers and embeds them for instance into a diving, soft robot fish. Their integration enables new capabilities in swimming and bio-inspired climbing robots to improve their locomotion performance.
