EXCUSE ME, YOUR UNICORN KEEPS SHITTING IN MY BACK YARD, CAN HE PLEASE NOT?

The matrix is inverted and my teddy bear is spying on me. Why am I covered in unicorn shit? I was only browsing the web. No, I do not want another cookie. Why are you feeding me cookies? Is that my treadmill? Am I the milk of magnesia to your unicorns constipation? How can you hear me when Im not saying anything? I cant seem to look away. Hello, White Man on the Cloud! Why can He see me, but I cant see Him? Who, exactly, is getting smarter about whom? And why is Oettingers donut so red?

TITS OR GTFO

How many of us more or less discovered sex or about our bodies from the web? We are at a moment where we have the potential to see a huge potential to shift the way we view sex, pornography, art and even ourself These discoveries are a universal experience, but the majority of our relationships are now being controlled by modern corporate censorship models . As a result of these obfuscated terms of service, we are erasing contemporary art and entire groups of society. The operating assumption of US Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart toward pornography vs art"I know it when I see it"is increasingly impossible to apply in a space where Facebook defines our intents on their Terms.

DISCONNECTED - A 48H VIRTUAL REALITY (VR) TRIP OR THE BEGINNING OF VR TRAVEL

It is now the year 2026. People spend much of their time in Virtual Reality (VR) for entertainment, education, training, enjoying themselves in thousands of digital worlds. New art-forms and ways of storytelling have prevailed. It is normal that you jump into VR to meet your international friends in Social VR Rooms and go on crazy adventures together. You visit locations you'd never dreamt of, learn languages and cooking skills in authentic environments.

TECHCRUNCH / TECHFUGEES

The tide of people flooding into Europe has flummoxed Governments and panicked legislators. A new UK initiative has crowdsourced the technology community and is finding answers via hackathons and combined intelligence. The goal is to kick-start the worlds developer community to deliver relevant and essential tools into the hands of displaced people everywhere, giving them a voice, dignity and support.

RAISING ECOSYSTEMS FROM THE GROUND UP

Creating new startups require nurturing ecosystems around them. Just like startups, even if it may seem so sometimes, ecosystems do not develop by accident, but by decision, systematic approach and commitment by multiple parties. How do you develop them? How do you raise ecosystems from the ground up and know what is relevant and why? Valto will address these questions and talk also about key challenges behind ecosystems.

THE JOURNEY OF HARDWARE AND CROWDFUNDING FROM SCRATCH

This speech is like an inspirational diary of a college girl in the Middle East who studies literature, and who ended up a year later running a hardware start-up company in Europe. The speech takes the crowd through the obstacles, the ups and downs, and how crowdfunding and hardware startups can be built from scratch with minimum resources and support.

INNOVATION, ACCELERATORS, E-RESIDENCY

Tobias Stone tells the story of how he created a new kind of accelerator, building an ecosystem around eye-care. Along this journey he had startups using Estonia's e-Residency on his program and started to work with the Estonian Government to support the e-Residency Program. He then built an ecosystem around this program, and is developing more programs in healthcare. He explains how accelerators, e-Identities, networks, and connectivity tie together to create better innovation.

AUGMENTED REALITY DRIVES INFORMATION VISUALIZATION

Today's economy makes it easy for people in any part of the world to disseminate and collect information about a crisis. Platforms are becoming easy to set-up and people are using tools such as Heroku, Carto.DB and dropchop.io to do so. But how can you visualize in more advanced ways through technologies such as Augmented Reality, that has driven the world crazy through apps like Pokemon Go?

RED INK: SCIENCE FICTION AND THE VOCABULARY OF THE FUTURE

Science fiction is a highly creative story-telling art form, a source for unbound inspiration for designers, entrepreneurs and scientists, a wonderful platform to engage kids with STEM education and to the wide public with science, technology and innovation. Alongside these wonderful attributes, Id like to suggest to you science fiction as a laboratory for ideas, a research facility for thought experiments. Through the exploration of the impossible, science fiction expands our conversation and understanding of the possible. Science fiction creatives offer us new words, a vocabulary for things that have yet to be, enabling us to better articulate the present and the future ahead. Science fiction offers us the red ink we desperately need for a progressive, inclusive and better tomorrow.
